At Nash BoatWorks we are passionate about Kayaks. We love to paddle and we love to build kayaks. We got into this business not to make money or to make a difference in the sport but to make a difference in people’s lives. Kayaking has played a central part in our lives and we are at the point now where we are fortunate enough to be able to share the joy of being on the open water with others. We believe in basics. The designs we sell and build are descended from the Inuit, they have evolved over thousands of years, been perfected for their environments and offer not only amazing performance and paddle-ability, they offer a connection to the water you cannot get in a commercially made craft.   

I began paddling in 1997 and built my first kayak in 2003. In the years following I began paddling and building other people's designs and studying the history of kayak building and evolution. In 2013 I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to study and perfect my building technique under the tutelage of Mark Rogers. I have since built many skin covered kayaks whose basic design principles are the driving force behind what we do sell.

In 2018 Mark agreed to sell his wooden boat business and all 9 of his designs. I am proud to offer the full line of Superior Kayaks designs and continue faithfully evoking designs that have endured for centuries.
